Canceling an encounter
Appointment cancellations are expected, as it could also be the case that the doctor presents a mishap or situation that prevents him from attending said consultation.
Go to the βCalendarβ module.
Cancel an appointment is an easy task. Click on the meeting you want to cancel and then click on βCancelβ.
To cancel an event, you must specify:
- Reason for cancellation (whether the patient or the doctor canceled or another reason).
- Comments.
- Send comments by email (this option is represented by a box you can check or uncheck depending on the user's preference).
Once the appointment is canceled, you will be able to check the number of appointments that have been previously canceled by activating the 'View canceled appointments' option.
Cancellation by the patient
It's important to mention that patients cannot cancel an encounter independently. However, they can request the cancellation of their meeting that will appear on the medic of the encounter.
Once an appointment is created, a WhatsApp message and email will be sent to the patient.
After explaining the reason for the cancellation, the request will be sent to the physician.
Also, you will receive an email if a patient sends you a cancellation request.
The patient can cancel the event 24 hours before starting the meeting. After that, it wonΒ΄t be possible.
As a physician, you can cancel a request whenever you want. π
